Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida seeks a Radiology Coordinator to manage radiology communications, coordinate with radiologists and referring providers, and assist with scheduling and special procedures. The role emphasizes timely documentation, patient privacy, and escalation of urgent imaging needs.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to HIPAA and hospital policies. Prior coordination experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of healthcare coordination, patient service, or similar office experience.
• HS Graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Radiology telephone calls, emails, and other communications.
• Facilitate communication between radiologists and referring physicians, APPs, nurses, technologists, and other clinical personnel.
• Schedule procedures and assist with urgent/add-on requests.
• Ensure timely notification, documentation, and escalation of imaging results.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all activities.
• Support leadership with workflow improvements and training as assigned.
