Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of prior related experience.
• Required licensure/certification can be substituted for education or experience if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate precise patient schedules for procedures to maximize resource utilization.
• Register patients by collecting and entering demographic and insurance data into systems.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and inquiries about procedure types, dates, and locations.
• Facilitate insurance pre-certification and authorization workflows for approvals before care.
• Counsel patients on pre-service requirements and instructions for upcoming procedures.
