Job summary

UCSF Health in San Francisco seeks a Practice Coordinator to serve as the public face of Radiology & Biomedical operations. You will support IT, facilities, CRM messages, scheduling (APeX, iLab), scanning and filing, ensuring accurate information flow between medical staff and departments to maximize unit efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, organization, discretion, and collaboration across administrative and clinical teams, with campus-wide flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with four years related experience; or college degree with 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
• Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality in responding to issues.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data regarding business operations and provide recommendations for efficiency, staffing, and budgetary.
• Proven ability to function and participate effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects from conception to implementation with a service-oriented demeanor.
• Proficiency in several online systems (APeX, iLab, Scheduling Systems).
• Experience communicating with senior-level administrators, faculty, residents and patients with tact and discretion.
• Experience in producing written memoranda, correspondence, and reports with clear organization.

Responsibilities

• Represent the administrative team as the public face of the practice and support operations across IT, facilities, CRM, and scheduling.
• Assist with APeX, iLab, and scheduling; manage scanning, filing, and administrative tasks.
• Coordinate with clinical and management teams to ensure accurate information flow and efficient unit operations.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work across UCSF campuses as needed.
