Akumin is a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services, delivering advanced diagnostic imaging through a nationwide network. We seek a RIS Team Lead / Manager to drive end-to-end radiology workflows, system integration, and collaborative governance across centers.

You will lead RIS analysts and integration engineers, shaping standards for scheduling, authorization, reporting, and billing while partnering with radiology and revenue cycle leadership to optimize patient access

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare clinical applications with RIS/PACS expertise.
• 2+ years in a team lead, supervisory, or technical project management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.

Responsabilités

• Lead RIS analysts and clinical systems specialists.
• Manage workload and prioritization across support, optimization, and major rollouts.
• Govern SOPs, change management, and documentation standards.
• Align with clinical operations, IT/interoperability, and revenue cycle management leadership and vendors.
• Design and standardize end-to-end radiology workflows across multi-site centers.
• Integrate CPT/HCPCS, modality protocols, scheduling rules, and billing workflows.
• Oversee HL7, DICOM, and FHIR data flows between EHR, RIS, PACS, VNA, and portals.
• Lead migrations, platform upgrades, and project delivery from conception to stabilization.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous quality improvement and automation.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to RIS team.
