Zusammenfassung

Mercyhealth is seeking an Radiology Front Desk professional to provide clerical and patient registration support. You will greet patients, verify demographics in Epic, and assist with check-in and privacy protection.

The role also involves PACS-related tasks, record handling, and coordinating communications within the radiology team. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with opportunities to contribute to efficient department operations and patient experience.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Previous medical reception experience preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Radiant/Cadence experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Answers incoming telephone calls and forwards to appropriate personnel.
• Greets on-site visitors and manages visitor access and directions.
• Processes patient check-in in Epic and verifies demographics.
• Prints wristbands, scans and attaches labels, and ensures privacy.
• Maintains office supplies and handles routine clerical tasks.
• Operates PACS to track images and communicates with physicians’ offices.
• Supports daily department workflows and handles mail and Fed-Ex requests.
• Ensures accurate patient information is accessible for care.
• Adheres to confidentiality and security policies.
