Job summary

UCI Health in Orange County is seeking a courteous receptionist to be the first point of contact in our ambulatory clinics. You will perform general clerical and reception duties, enter patient data, verify insurance, and schedule or adjust appointments with accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires strong English communication, comfort with office equipment and a multi-line phone system, and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of duties.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Must be able to work weekends/holidays.
• Experience using office equipment (printer, copier, fax, scanner).
• Experience using a multi-line telephone system.
• Experience with data entry and retrieval on a computer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to maintain a productive work pace and professional working relationships.

Responsibilities
