Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a management professional for Radiology Services to design and monitor scheduling, registration, and authorization workflows. The role ensures accurate referrals, timely pre-arrival registration, and effective queue management across departments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of managerial experience in registration, scheduling, or insurance verification, with strong leadership and EPIC familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' managerial experience in Registration, Scheduling, and/or Insurance Verification.
• Understanding of third-party payor and managed care requirements, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to lead, solve problems and work in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility of schedule and willingness for holiday/weekend shifts as required.
• EPIC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs, monitors and implements scheduling, registration, authorization guidelines to ensure efficient Radiology Service processes.
• Ensures scheduling verification, referral and pre-arrival registration information flows are accurate and timely.
• Oversees work queues and reports to maintain productivity and quality standards.
