Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for all ages, under a Radiologist's direction. You’ll adapt procedures for accurate results with safety, efficiency, and patient comfort in mind.

The role requires ARRT(R), BLS, and state licensure; you’ll lead quality imaging, mentor staff, and support the department with timely image processing and QA activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• State licensure for Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) required
• ARRT certification (R) and BLS within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures ensuring accuracy within guidelines
• Be the resource for staff on radiographic procedures and views
• Ensure patient comfort and radiation safety
• Maintain equipment knowledge and assist with troubleshooting
• Maintain clean work area and supply stocks
• Record patient information in HIS and PACS
