Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures for patients of all ages under Radiologist supervision. You will adapt procedures for optimal diagnostic results, maintain safety, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring correct views, patient comfort, equipment troubleshooting, and participation in QA/QC programs while supporting imaging department operations.

Qualifications

• Registered in Radiography (ARRT) as required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (IEMA) or equivalent.
• Completion certificate in Radiologic Technology and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately per guidelines.
• Serve as a resource to staff for radiographic procedures.
• Ensure proper views, filters, collimation, markers and patient ID.
• Maintain patient comfort and radiation protection during exams.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain clean, stocked work areas.
• Support lab testing and QA/QC activities as needed.
