Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages under radiologist direction. You will ensure accurate exams, proper shielding, and patient safety while maintaining equipment and room readiness.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, IL licensure, BLS and related radiologic technology education/experience. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available as part of the package.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in radiography and BLS within 30 days.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (IL).
• Certificate/Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Related field work experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately per guidelines.
• Serve as resource for staff on radiographic procedures.
• Ensure image quality with proper filters, collimation, markers, patient ID.
• Maintain patient comfort and radiation safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain room supplies.
• Support lab testing as appropriate.

Education

ARRT Registered in Radiography

BLS (AHA) within 30 days

IEMA Radiography License (IL)

Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology

Associate’s Degree: Radiologic Technology
