Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under radiologist direction. The role requires independent judgment to tailor procedures for optimal diagnostic results.

Responsibilities include high-quality image acquisition, patient comfort, radiation protection, equipment troubleshooting, and collaboration with the imaging team to maintain workflow and safety standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification for Radiography; BLS within 30 days; licensed radiologic technologist in Illinois IEMA.
• Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology or equivalent.
• Experience in related radiology field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately within standards and policies.
• Serve as resource on radiographic views, image quality, filters, collimation and patient ID.
