Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology across patient ages under radiologist direction. You will adapt procedures for optimal results while protecting patients from unnecessary exposure.

You will mentor staff, manage exam quality, and ensure accurate HIS/Radiant/PACS data entry. A strong credential set including ARRT and BLS is required, with licensure in the relevant state and an associate degree in radiologic technology.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered radiography technologist with active credentials.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• IEMA radiography licensing (Illinois or applicable state).
• Certificate/associate degree in radiologic technology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures per guidelines and radiologist directions.
• Serve as resource for staff on radiographic views, filters, collimation and patient IDs.
• Maintain radiation protection, provide patient comfort, and ensure efficient care.
• Troubleshoot equipment and keep work area clean and stocked.
• Enter patient data into HIS and radiology systems (Radiant, PACS).
• Support QA, QC, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
