Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.

You will ensure image quality, patient safety, and efficient workflow, while maintaining equipment and accurate data in HIS/Radiant/PACS systems.

Team-focused, committed to clinical excellence, you will train staff and participate in QA/QC programs to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registration in Radiography (R).
• BLS within 30 days.
• IEMA Radiologic Technologist license (Illinois).
• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures with accuracy under radiologist direction.
• Ensures image quality using proper views, filters, collimation, markers and patient identification.
• Maintains patient comfort and radiation protection throughout procedures.
• Maintains equipment readiness, troubleshooting, and clean work area.
• Documents and processes images and paperwork accurately in HIS/Radiant/PACS.

Education

ARRT Certification (Radiography)

Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA)

Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA

Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology

Associate’s Degree: Radiologic Technology
