Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies and support patient care under the supervision of a provider. You will ensure safe positioning, proper imaging, and accurate documentation in the EMR.

The role requires ARRT certification and BLS, with preferred state licensure and EPIC/PACS familiarity. Responsibilities include maintaining radiation safety, adjusting equipment, and collaborating with the care team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certification and Registration with ARRT is required.
• State licensure preferred, if applicable by state.
• BLS certification required or preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and radiation protection.
• Documents patient encounters in EMR.
• Selects appropriate technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment.
• Maintains skills and may travel to other facilities as needed.
• Adheres to sterile technique and infection control policies.
