Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on requirements, design verification, and system integration across the lifecycle.

The candidate will travel 3-5 days to Moorestown, NJ and Wallops Island, with additional local travel to Navy Yard or Quantico, and must possess an active Secret clearance. A BS/BA in a STEM field is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
• Experience developing requirements, specifications, and lifecycle traceability.
• Experience with radar systems or Navy defense systems preferred.
• Ability to model, analyze, and maintain system performance.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and coordinating lab/testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interfaces.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
