Job summary
SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar capabilities for the U.S. Navy. You will work on requirements, system integration, modeling, and verification across the lifecycle. The role involves travel to Moorestown, NJ and Wallops Island, VA for testing (3–5 days per trip) with occasional visits to Navy Yard or Quantico.
Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required. A BS/BA in engineering or STEM is required; compensation ranges from $102,000 to $147,000
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and requirements development.
- Experience with radar systems, Navy combat systems, or other complex defense systems.
- MBSE tools and modeling for design and integration.
- Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
- Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and testing.
