Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on requirements development, system integration, modeling, and verification across the lifecycle, with travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and local Navy facilities.

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain clearance; prior defense domain experience is valued and you will collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities including requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
• Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements, interface documentation, and engineering baselines with traceability throughout the lifecycle.
• Experience supporting radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or other complex defense systems preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and analyzing performance data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
