SimVentions, Inc. in the United States seeks a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar programs for the U.S. Navy.

The role emphasizes requirements development, systems integration, design verification, and modeling across the lifecycle. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required, with travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, Navy Yard, or Quantico up to ~5 trips/year. A BS/BA in STEM with ABET accreditation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Experience with requirements development, specification management, systems integration and design verification.
• Ability to manage system requirements, interfaces, and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar/sensor/Navy systems or similar defense programs preferred.
• Modeling/simulation to assess performance and inform decisions.
• Planning, coordinating and executing system testing and data analysis.
• Familiarity with MBSE processes and government program collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface docs.
• Support architecture, decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance with MATLAB.
