Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineering professional to support SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on requirements development, system integration, and verification throughout the lifecycle.

Travel to Moorestown, NJ and Wallops Island, VA for testing is required, with up to five trips per year. Active Secret Clearance is required. A BS/BA in a STEM field (ABET-accredited engineering curriculum or related fields) is needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience supporting radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or other defense systems is preferred.
• Experience with modeling/simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and lab/integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
