Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities for the U.S. Navy. This role focuses on systems engineering, radar performance, signal processing, and integration throughout the system lifecycle.

The candidate will develop and execute engineering plans, maintain system requirements and interface documents, and perform modeling, simulation, and testing. Travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, Navy Yard, and Quantico may occur, with up to five trips yearly.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities
• Experience developing and maintaining system requirements, interface documentation, and baselines with traceability
• Experience supporting radar or complex defense systems preferred
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess performance and guide decisions

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools
