Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support radar system engineering for Navy programs, including requirements development, verification, and integration across the lifecycle. The role requires active Secret clearance, ABET-Engineering degree, and travel for testing at sites nationwide.

Expect collaboration with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-ready solutions. Applicants should have 4+ years in the field, experience with MBSE, MATLAB, and system

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a systems engineering role.
• Experience developing requirements, managing specifications, integrating systems, and verifying designs.
• Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements, interface docs, and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Preference for radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or similar defense systems.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess performance and guide decisions.
• Experience planning and executing system testing, analyzing data, and supporting lab/integration testing.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools/methodologies for system design/integration.
• Ability to collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams on system integration and technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specs, and interface docs.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
