Job summary
SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to join a Navy-focused program in Virginia, delivering lifecycle systems engineering, requirements management, and integration across hardware and software domains. You will develop and maintain system baselines, perform analyses, and support verification activities with MATLAB tools.
The role requires an active Secret clearance, 4+ years of experience, and collaboration with government and multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and related activities.
- Experience with requirements development, specification management, and design verification.
- Familiarity with MBSE, radar systems, and working with government engineers.
- Ability to model, simulate, and analyze system performance with MATLAB.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
- Support system architecture, decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and testing.
- Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
