Job summary

SimVentions is actively seeking a systems engineer to support Navy radar programs in the United States. The role focuses on requirements, verification, and system integration across the lifecycle.

You will work with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams, develop models and perform analyses using MATLAB, and travel up to 5 trips annually.

A SECRET clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship is needed to obtain access. This is a technically demanding role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering roles.
• Experience with requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
• Ability to develop and maintain system requirements, interfaces, and baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems, Navy combat systems, or other complex defense systems preferred.
• Experience using models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and analyzing performance data.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools, processes, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
