Job summary
SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support radar systems for the U.S. Navy. The role involves requirements development, integration, and verification across the lifecycle, with travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and other Navy sites as needed.
Active Secret Clearance is required. A BS/BA in a STEM field and ABET-accredited engineering curriculum are preferred, with 4+ years of relevant experience and familiarity with MATLAB for testing and analysis.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and related activities.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and tracing system requirements and baselines.
- Experience with radar systems or defense systems preferred.
- Experience using engineering models and simulations to support decisions.
- Experience planning and executing system testing and data analysis.
- Familiarity with MBSE processes and tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
- Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interfaces.
- Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
- Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
- Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
- Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
