Job summary

SimVentions, 100% employee-owned, is seeking a systems engineer to support U.S. Navy radar programs. The role emphasizes requirements development, design verification, system integration, and performance modeling across the lifecycle.

Requires 4+ years in systems engineering, active Secret clearance, and the ability to work with government teams. Travel up to five trips yearly to Moorestown, Wallops Island, Navy Yard or Quantico; MBSE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
• Develop and maintain system requirements, interface documentation, and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems or Navy/defense systems preferred.
• Use engineering models/simulations to assess performance and guide decisions.
• Plan/co-ordinate/test system testing and analyze performance.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools/processes for system design and integration.
• Collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
