Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role emphasizes requirements management, system integration, and verification across the lifecycle. Travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and local Navy facilities is required.

The position requires an active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with opportunities to contribute to testing, modeling, and analysis using MATLAB in a collaborative, owner-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
• Experience developing and managing system requirements, interfaces, and traceability.
• Experience with radar systems, Navy combat systems, or other complex defense systems preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and analyzing performance data.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Ability to work with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams for system integration and program execution.
• Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
