SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on systems engineering, radar performance, signal processing, and integration across the lifecycle, with travel to Moorestown, NJ and Wallops Island, and occasional trips to Navy Yard or Quantico.

Active Secret clearance is required; U.S. Citizenship is needed. A BS/BA in a STEM field (ABET-accredited engineering preferred) is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and related activities.
• Experience developing, analyzing, and maintaining system requirements and baselines with traceability.
• Experience supporting radar systems or defense systems is preferred.
• Experience modeling/simulating to assess performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning and executing system testing and data analysis.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
