Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Navy radar programs, applying systems engineering across lifecycle from requirements to testing. This role involves collaboration with government engineers, MBSE approaches, and hands-on analysis using MATLAB.

The position requires an active Secret Clearance and entails travel to Moorestown, NJ and Wallops Island, VA for testing, as well as occasional Navy Yard/Quantico visits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience with requirements development, specification management, and design verification.
• Ability to maintain system requirements, interface docs, and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems, sensor technologies, or complex defense systems preferred.
• Experience using models and simulations to evaluate system performance.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and analyzing data.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
