SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering and Navy system integration. The role requires developing requirements, managing specifications, and verifying designs across the lifecycle.

Travel is expected to support testing at Moorestown, Wallops Island, and other sites, with an active Secret Clearance preferred. The position emphasizes MBSE, MATLAB-based analysis, and collaboration with government engineers in a defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience supporting requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
• Experience with radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or other defense systems is preferred.
• Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and analyzing performance data.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools, processes, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and laboratory tools.
