Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on requirements development, system integration, and verification across the lifecycle in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, and Navy facilities is required, with occasional domestic trips. An active Secret clearance is required, US citizenship, and a BS/BA in a STEM field from an ABET-accredited program are expected.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
  • Experience with requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification.
  • Ability to develop and maintain system requirements, interfaces, and baselines with traceability across the lifecycle.
  • Experience with radar/sensor systems or complex defense systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
  • Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interfaces documentation.
  • Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
  • Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
  • Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
  • Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
