Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering efforts for the U.S. Navy. The role emphasizes requirements development, system integration, modeling, and verification across the lifecycle with an emphasis on defense systems.

Travel to Moorestown, NJ and Wallops Island for testing, plus local visits to Navy Yard or Quantico. An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required and U.S. Citizenship is necessary to obtain access to classified information.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering and related activities.
• Experience developing, managing, and tracing system requirements and interface documentation.
• Experience supporting radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or similar defense programs.
• Experience using models and simulations to assess system performance and inform decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing testing and analyzing performance data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
