Job summary

SimVentions, 100% employee-owned, is seeking a systems engineer to support U.S. Navy radar development. This role focuses on systems engineering, requirements, MBSE, and integration across the lifecycle.

Travel to Moorestown, Wallops Island, Navy Yard, and Quantico may occur; active Secret clearance is required. You will work with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams to design, verify, and test complex defense systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering activities.
• Experience developing and maintaining system requirements and baselines.
• Experience with radar systems or Navy combat systems preferred.
• Ability to model, simulate, and analyze system performance.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools and processes.
• Ability to collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
