Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a systems engineer to support SPY-6 radar engineering capabilities for the U.S. Navy. The role focuses on systems engineering, radar performance, signal processing, and integration across the lifecycle.

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required. The position involves travel to Moorestown NJ and Wallops Island, plus local trips to Navy Yard or Quantico. BS/BA in STEM with ABET-accredited engineering curriculum is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Experience developing, analyzing, and maintaining system requirements, interface documentation, and engineering baselines with traceability.
• Experience with radar systems, sensor technologies, Navy combat systems, or other complex defense systems preferred.
• Ability to use models and simulations to assess system performance and support decisions.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing and analyzing performance data.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools, processes and methodologies for system design and integration.
• Ability to collaborate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans.
• Create and maintain system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis.
• Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Develop test plans and analyze system performance using MATLAB and lab tools.
