UL LLC in Northbrook, IL seeks a customer support specialist to handle inquiries by phone or email, coordinate pre- and post-sale actions, and help convert quotes into orders using ERP and pricing tools. You will connect customers with Account Managers, SEs/ISEs and delivery teams to ensure timely, accurate messaging and satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma and under 1 year of related experience, proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, strong communication, and business

Formación

• High school diploma
• Under 1 year of related experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software
• Business acumen and understanding of sales processes
• Sufficient understanding of UL products / services for aligned industry to effectively generate quotes.
• Experience managing internal systems and data sources
• Strong communication and administrative skills
• English proficiency preferred

Responsabilidades

• Engages with customers via telephone or electronic inquiries to address inquiries and admin-related activities
• Coordinates pre- and post-sale actions to ensure TIC certification and product adoption timelines
• Develops and shares quotes using standardized pricing tools under supervision
• Processes quotes into orders using ERP
• Supports account managers and SE/ISEs with admin-related tasks
• Applies experience to complete assigned work within area of expertise
• Connects customer to UL personnel (Account Manager, SEs/ISEs, delivery teams, engineers) when appropriate
• Tracks account history and supply data to inform opportunities
• Collaborates to resolve inquiries and ensure proper messaging
• Provides input to sales strategy based on customer relationships
• Builds internal UL problem-solving network to anticipate problems and improve delivery
• Meets timelines for pre- and post-sales activities
• Works with a moderate degree of supervision
• Performs other duties as directed
