Job summary

UL Solutions in Northbrook, IL seeks a proactive Inside Sales/Customer Support professional to back UL’s sales team. You will handle inquiries, generate quotes, develop cases, process orders, and liaise with account managers, SE/ISEs, and delivery teams to drive timely outcomes.

This role emphasizes independent work, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring junior colleagues, with a base salary around $50,000 and total annual target incentives up to 20% of base, plus comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 2+ years of customer service and/or inside sales experience is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software; strong business acumen recommended.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers via phone or email to address inquiries and admin tasks.
• Coordinate pre- and post-sale actions to meet TIC certification requirements and product timelines.
• Develop quotes using pricing tools and process quotes into orders via ERP.
• Support account managers and SE/ISEs with admin tasks and document communication.
