Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Licensed Professional (RN or PT) to review and approve patient information at start of care, re-certification, resumption of care, or evaluation visits. You will train LPs, collaborate with branch leadership, ensure documentation meets regulatory standards, and maintain relationships with referral sources, patients, caregivers and employees.

Candidates should have current licensure, at least one year of experience in Medicare home health

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing or physical therapy.
• Valid clinical license, per state requirements.
• Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare.
• Experience in Medicare home health or hospice setting.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid state driver license and automobile liability insurance.
• Preferred experience with packet review / quality improvement and coding.
• Basic technology skills including operation of a mobile device.
• Preferred experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• In-office attendance is essential; remote work not allowed except for designated full-time remote positions.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve all patient information submitted by the Licensed Professional during start of care, recertification, resumption of care, or evaluation visit.
• Partner with branch leadership to provide ongoing education and training to branch LPs to ensure documentation requirements meet regulatory standards.
• Meet one-on-one with LPs to provide in-depth training when necessary.
• Promote quality patient care and maintain stable relationships with referral sources, patients, caregivers and employees.
