Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily activities of the Quality Department on the shop floor.
Ensure materials, processes and finished products meet drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Lead Quality Technicians/Inspectors and coordinate with Production and Engineering.
Drive corrective and preventive actions and root-cause analyses.
Review inspections, nonconformances and containment status to prevent product issues.
Communicate quality concerns and maintain quality documentation.
