Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the aluminum manufacturing industry.
• Certification in quality management or auditing (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Manager).

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of Quality Technicians and Inspectors on the shop floor.
• Review and verify quality inspections and documentation.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions across the manufacturing process.
• Monitor welding, fabrication, powder coating, and assembly quality against drawings and specs.
• Maintain calibration and accuracy of inspection equipment and gauges.
• Escalate significant quality concerns to management and initiate containment when needed.
• Ensure nonconforming material is properly identified, segregated, and dispositioned.
