Job summary

This manufacturing organization in Cope, SC is seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee the Quality Department supporting general fabrication, welding, machining, and powder coating, ensuring materials and finished products meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

You will lead Quality Technicians/Inspectors, collaborate with Production and Engineering, identify quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions throughout the manufacturing process on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in SPC and other quality tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail in fast-paced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Quality Technicians on the manufacturing floor.
• Ensure inspections align with drawings, specs, and procedures.
• Oversee first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Identify defects, investigate root cause, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate nonconforming material control and disposition.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to prevent defects.
