Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. seeks a Quality Supervisor for a well-established manufacturer in Cope, SC. You will lead the Quality Department across fabrication, welding, machining, and powder coating, ensuring products meet drawings, specs, and customer requirements.

You will mentor QA technicians, drive CAPA, coordinate with Production and Engineering, oversee inspections, and uphold ISO 9001 standards while promoting a culture of quality on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• 5+ years in quality control or quality assurance.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Proficiency with SPC and quality tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day Quality Department activities.
• Ensure materials and products meet drawings and specs.
• Provide floor-level leadership to Quality Technicians/Inspectors.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions across manufacturing.
• Partner with Production and Engineering to address issues.
• Maintain QA documentation and records.
• Review first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Monitor coating, welding, fabrication and nonconforming materials.
