Job summary

Markent Personnel in the United States is seeking a Quality Supervisor for our Orangeburg-area operations. The role oversees day-to-day Quality Department activities supporting fabrication, welding, machining, and powder coating to meet customer specs.

You will lead technicians, drive CAPA, review start-of-day and end-of-shift quality, and partner with Production and Engineering to reduce defects and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality management.
• Minimum 5 years of quality control/assurance experience.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and SPC tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Department to ensure products meet specs and customer requirements.
• Oversee inspections across fabrication, welding, machining, and finishing.
• Review daily quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Manage nonconforming material, disposition, and CAPA processes.
• Monitor calibration and use of inspection equipment.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering to prevent defects.
• Maintain quality documentation and records accuracy.
• Lead daily and end-of-shift quality reviews.
