Job description

Job Title: Quality Operations Specialist

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Day-1 onsite)

Duration: Full-time

Skills required:
  • Associate college degree or relevant experience and technical training in lieu of degree.
  • 7-10 years of experience.
  • Experience in developing and writing internal procedures and creating training classes.
  • Previous work at 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station.
  • Action-oriented with the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project & Visio).
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulatory requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal and external customers (including government agencies).
  • Knowledge of Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement Methodology, including Statistical Analysis & Project Management techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight, be well-organized, and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain, update, and revise QMS Procedures as necessary.
  • Revise Repair Station Training Manual and Quality Manual for the addition of the Flight Research Center.
  • Create a Procedure for a common FAA Roster of Technicians across all Repair Stations.
  • Update Training Records for all Repair Station Employees.
  • Create/Revised Procedures for PC Extension.
  • Update/Revised all Repair Station Standard Training in Brain Shark.
  • Update/Revised all ARD Training in Brain Shark.
  • Update/Track and Monitor Commercial Quality Escape RCCA.
  • Create Drug and Alcohol Random Testing Procedure for all Repair Stations.
  • Create/Revised Procedures for the addition of CPR/BPR Warehouse to the Quality Management System support.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), risk evaluation, and mitigation coordination.
  • Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
Summary of work:

The Quality Operations Specialist is responsible for developing conformity packages for the 525 program and ensuring the compliance of the quality management system with regulatory requirements. The role involves developing, revising, and maintaining processes, procedures, and program plans within the QMS, as well as processes and procedures for the certified repair station.
