Quality Operations Specialist

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job ID: #70761

Contract Duration: 12 months

Pay Range: $28-48 per hour

Shift Details

1st shift -- 9/80 schedule

Experience Requirements

1. Must have Quality engineering/Quality planning experience.
2. Candidates with inspection experience only are not suitable.
3. Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
4. Experience with First Article Inspection Planning per AS9102.
5. Advanced GD&T experience.
6. Preferred: Aerospace quality experience.
7. Familiar with machine parts and gear manufacturing and inspection techniques.
8. Knowledge of advanced composite part manufacturing and inspection techniques.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Access, Word, Excel).

Position Responsibilities

1. Create Quality Inspection Instructions, identifying inspection points within planning routes.
2. Manage first article inspections in accordance with AS9100/AS9102 and company policies.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Engineering, Inspection, Planning, Engineering, and Leadership.
4. Extract and interpret complex models using Catia V6 & 3DX for Quality Planning.
5. Navigate MES systems such as CAMS, SAP ECC, SAP PEO.
6. Maintain configuration management compliance through audits and tracking.
7. Make decisions based on engineering, contract, and procedural requirements.
8. Develop solutions compliant with policies and procedures.
9. Perform duties following company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Education

Associate's degree preferred; relevant experience and technical training may be considered in lieu of degree.
