Job summary

Grunley Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to assure top-tier QC across highly visible commercial, institutional, and government projects.

The role reports to the Vice President & General Manager and works with the onsite Superintendent, Project Manager, and Project Executive to ensure quality against contract requirements. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with substantial construction experience or

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 5 years of construction experience or an associate’s degree with 10 years of construction experience.
• Working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures and practices with the Corps of Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop Quality Control Plan for submission.
• Review and approve work plans and product submissions.
• Plan and conduct three-phase inspection program with preparatory, initial, follow-up and final inspections.
• Maintain site-specific test log and verify material compliance with submittals and contract requirements.
• Prepare, distribute and maintain daily reports summarizing the above.
• Provide safety support including photo documentation of job-site incidents and coordinating with Safety Department.
