Job summary

Grunley Construction is seeking a Quality Control Manager to ensure materials and workmanship meet all requirements on complex commercial, institutional, and government projects. The role reports to the Vice President/GM and interacts with the onsite Superintendent, Project Manager, and Project Executive.

The position requires a bachelor’s or equivalent with extensive QA/QC experience and a USACE CQM certification; US Citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
• Minimum five years with bachelor’s or ten years with associate’s degree in construction experience.
• Working knowledge of QA/QC procedures, including USACE standards.
• US Citizenship required.
• Current USACE CQM Management Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Quality Control Plan for submission.
• Review and approve work plans.
• Review and approve product submissions.
• Plan for and conduct three-phase inspection program with phase reports.
• Quality control inspections and site logs.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Assist Safety with documentation and photography of incidents.
