Job summary

Grunley Construction Company, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Manager to ensure top-tier QA/QC across complex commercial, institutional, and government projects. The role has authority granted by the president and reports to the Vice President & GM, coordinating with onsite teams.

Responsibilities include developing QC plans, managing submittals, and leading a three-phase inspection program, with strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 5+ years construction experience; or an Associate’s with 10+ years.
Current USACE CQM Management Certificate is required.
US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Develop Quality Control Plan for submission.
Review and approve work plans and product submissions.
Plan and conduct three‑phase inspection program, including meetings and reports.
Perform quality control inspections and maintain site log(s).
Prepare and distribute daily reports, including safety photo documentation.
