Job summary

Grunley Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to assure top-tier construction services and compliance with project requirements, including materials and workmanship across diverse high-profile projects.

The role requires an engineering or construction-management background, a USACE CQM certificate, and five years of construction experience (ten years with an associate degree). You will lead submittal reviews, inspections, and daily reports, coordinating with site

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of construction experience or an associate’s degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience.
Must have working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures and practices with the Corp of Engineers.
Current USACE CQM Management Certificate required.

Responsibilities

Develop Quality Control Plan for submission.
Review and approve work plans.
Review and approve product submissions.
Plan for and conduct three–phase inspection program (preparatory, initial, follow-up, final).
Quality control inspections: maintain site-specific test log, verify materials and drawings, implement corrective actions.
Prepare, distribute, and maintain contemporaneous daily reports.
Support Safety with photo documentation and coordination with Safety Department.
