Job summary

Grunley Construction is seeking a Quality Control Manager to assure the highest quality in materials and workmanship across premier commercial and government projects. The role carries authority granted by the President and requires close coordination with the VP/GM, Superintendent, PM, and Project Executive to meet tight standards.

The position demands a bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management (or an associate’s with 10+ years) and knowledge of Corps of Engineers QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Mgmt with 5+ years, or an associate’s with 10+ years.
• Working knowledge of QA and QC procedures per the Corps of Engineers.
• US Citizenship required.

The Quality Control Manager will assure that Grunley Construction provides the highest quality of construction services and that we will meet or exceed all stated requirements in which we are involved with respect to materials and workmanship. The Quality Control Manager has authority granted by the President of Grunley Construction.

Reports to: Vice President & General Manager. Day-to-day activities are coordinated with the onsite Superintendent, Project Manager, and Project Executive as appropriate.

Required Education and Experience

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of construction experience or an associate's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience. Must have working knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures and practices with the Corps of Engineers. This position requires a successful track record in all aspects of construction and construction practices.
