Job summary

Grunley Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to ensure the highest quality of construction services across commercial, institutional, and government projects in the DMV.

This leadership role carries authority from the President and collaborates with the Vice President, Superintendent, Project Manager, and Project Executive as appropriate. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years construction experience or an associate's with 10+ years.
• Working knowledge of QA/QC procedures and Corps of Engineers practices.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Submittal management: develop QC plans and approve work products.
• Plan and conduct three‑phase inspections with reports at each stage.
• Quality control inspections: maintain site test logs and verify specs.
• Daily reports: prepare and distribute contemporaneous site records.
• Safety: document incidents and coordinate with Safety department.
