Hensel Phelps seeks a Quality Control Manager to implement and oversee the QC program across one or more projects, coordinating with the project superintendent and PM/PS to resolve issues.

This safety‑sensitive role requires leading QC meetings, maintaining QC logs, and ensuring compliance with plans, specs and codes while guiding QC personnel and coordinating with external testing agencies.

Qualificações

• A 4‑year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture or construction management, or similar experience in a related position.
• Minimum of 5‑7 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Computer software – Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the start‑up and implementation of the six‑step quality control/safety process.
• Lead the weekly QC meetings.
• Review and maintain the project quality process log (QPL).
• Interface directly with owner’s quality assurance and management on all quality‑related issues.
• Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field.
• Coordinate third party testing agency activities with Hensel Phelps and the trade partners.
• Evaluation and development of QC personnel.
